Beacon

Being Antarctica Music's 4th album released onto Soundcloud, Beacon is an experimental electronic-rock album with many influences.

"In the making of Beacon, I took inspiration from Radiohead's Amnesiac, because I enjoyed the experimental-spacy sound Combined with it's Rock Guitars." -IHadToDelete

The resulting instrumental album was filled with influences from orchestral, electronic, rock, folk, and world music. It was a success for IHadToDelete, the person who made Beacon, as he thought it was his greatest album he made at the time.

Uncertainty

While Beacon felt like a step up in quality from IHadToDelete' s other releases, he felt uncertain of how he would follow up such a quality album.

"It felt that I peaked with Beacon, and I was scared that I wouldn't be able to follow up it, and be sort of a one-album wonder." -IHadToDelete

Over that time of uncertainty, he took inspiration from Daft Punk to create another album with his friend called Rebirth, which brought out more dance-like features to Antarctica Music. He also made more Jazz songs on the Migration EP , which brought his creativity back that he could have lost.

Sequel

Around this time, Antarctica decided on making a sequel for Beacon, called Empire. According to IHadToDelete, the sequel will be having more chord progression, more synthesizers, and less guitars, Inspired by more recent bands like MGMT and The xx. By the description, this could be a promising album.
